OP ENHEIM

OP ENHEIM is a private cultural institution which aims to bring together the actions of the German and Polish artistic circles. It will be seated in a beautiful baroque tenement (Oppenheim-Haus) located in the heart of the Old Town in Wroclaw - the building is currently being massively renovated by OP ENHEIM.

In the summer of 2015 we were invited to a closed competition to design a brand identity for the institution. As our competition entry we suggested a new logo and a new name, which gave us the opportunity to create full identity for OP ENHEIM.
Scope
Naming, Branding, Print, Web design
Input
The former suggested name was Solny 4 (the name of the street where the building is located). We decided to use the historical name of Oppenheim-Haus of which the new owners were fond.
Process
We focused on combining the concepts of change, space and new opening and at the same time on preserving the historical legacy of the place.
Output
Oppenheim became OP ENHEIM, OP EN for short. The space after P gives an extra layer to the message and symbolises a new opening: a new space.
